CASE FILE #185028

Cynthia Taylor (Bet you didn't know that!)

Active - and alive. Or at least until some mad murderer I arrested escapes the prison (yeah, Sleuth cops are pretty bad at what they're doing) and revenges on me.

Fairly good, I guess. Well, if you don't take into account the fact that almost everyone in Sleuth City is a cold-blooded killer.

If I ever change my mind and become a legal Sleuth citizen a.k.a. serial murderer, here's how you'll spot me:
Right handed
Curly hair
Slim build
Light lipstick
Not the most accurate robot portrait, right?

Do I have such a thing? No, not really. Or, if you really want it...12 AM - 12 AM. No one ever sleeps in Sleuth City.

Motive for what? Sleuthing? I believe in the power of law and justice. If I were to decide, I'd arrest all the drug dealers, loan sharks and bookies in the City, plus the mob boss, fixer and socialite (I don't quite like Lilly). Which would leave this place without 40% of its population. The rest are just 100-year-old grandpas who kill their sons for forgetting their birthdays or sweet aunts with a wild nightlife.

Once upon a time, I was a young police detective in the same Sleuth City. Me and my team got a case of murder. When we arrived at the crime scene, I was told to investigate the bathroom. As I climbed up the stairs, I realised two things. The first one was that, surprisingly, the house didn't have any bathroom, but it had three bedrooms. The second one was that someone was behind me.
As I turned around, I saw one of my partners with a nasty look on his face. Like the one Shady has when I need her to clean my record of false accusations...In a few milliseconds, I was shot with a knife. When the Desk Sergeant searched his house, he could only find a bunch of bloody blunt weapons (what an alliteration!) having been meticulously aligned on a white couch. The case has been classified...
But I survived. Duh - otherwise I wouldn't be here writing this stuff. I hid myself in a piano bench until the murderer left and afterwards sneaked out. I had to bribe the Doctor to heal me - but that's how things work round here.
Ever since, I've been working on my own, doing my best to solve cases, catch the killers and avoid being killed myself. Unluckily, I haven't been able to arrest the traitor who had tried this shooting talents on me - looks like he's protected by one or more factions. But who knows what the future holds for us?
