Rumored to be a former detective of some reknown, the Sleuth Admin lives in a squalid apartment above the Tricky Mister Bar. Perhaps handsome in his youth, the ragged wear of a life wallowing in the misery of crime and violence has left him with the visage of an exhausted old man.
The landscape of the Admin's psyche has long since loosened and shifted to the point that judging his motives has become impossible. While the City's leaders once looked to him as an upholder of justice, their trust dwindled and vanished as time and again his actions empowered the criminals who have unleashed this rising murderous tide.
Patrons of the Tricky Mister still talk of late night encounters with this strange man, usually in the alley directly behind the bar. The sound of slow footsteps and a fleeting glance of a top-hatted figure as he makes his way up the lonely stairs to his chambers above...
