Visitable Agency Headquarters - Coming Jan 14th

On Saturday, Jan 14th, (right after midnight server time), we're going to launch an expansion that will make Agency Headquarters visitable locations on the map. Agency members will also be able to purchase furniture and other headquarter perks and decorate their own offices to suit your taste.

* Access Agency features such as the equipment locker and Case files from the convenience of the case page.

* In-game purchases will allow you to decorate your agency meeting room and individual offices to your taste.

* Some special perk furniture will provide game benefits such as expanded personal storage space and your own couch to nap on!

In order to access these features you'll need to be a member of an agency.

Secret Squirrel will also be running a special Sleuth Showdown to mark the event, so keep your eyes open for that.

Happy Sleuthing

I would like to put a vending machine in the meeting room, so that I can buy drinks, which can be use as a gift. ^_^

Great idea Joseph, and maybe some snacks :-D

The desk drawer in the users personal office could be used for leaving gifts, notes (and spiders) for them.

Long long time ago, players been asking why there isn't any bathroom or kitchen in the crime scene and suspect's houses. Maybe now its the time to add those.

Do some competition on which agency has the most beautifully designed detective rooms, then those rooms will randomly be generated into the cases that we do.

When the next great event like Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Easter and so on, each agents in an agency get to collect one candy or egg or sweet in each rooms of each agents in an agency (subscribers only) per day.

Vending Machines that sells different drinks and snacks (thanks Lechat) that can be use as gifts. Even upgrades certain shops in town like the Locksmith, that can combine ten "one use skeleton key" into a one "10 uses gold skeleton key". Stylists selling Make-up table and chair for female detectives, that will increase the questions asked to a male suspect/townie by 1 when the Make-up table and chair is present in their private office. And something similar for male detectives when the special furniture is present in their private office.

Besides CPs, create a new currency like SoM Token, that's randomly given for completing favors and these tokens can be use on the vending machines.

Really lots more ideas to come because Admins has added amazing feature. ^_^

I fixed a minor bug where it was giving you the "Are you sure you want to..." message when switching between floor/wall patterns you already own.

Hello, it's great to be able to decorate rooms, but being female and sensitive to colour, I'd love sunny yellows to be available for walls, especially for those rooms that have no outlook or north-facing etc. Otherwise our offices are dooomed to be cold and uninviting with all those blues, pinks and grays. A small tweak should rectify it, and I'll be eternally grateful nay, ecstatic. Thank you.

All great ideas Joseph. I hope Ben implements some of them later on.

Sunny yellows would be nice Lucylastic. It is true that the colour arrangements so far are 'manish', a womanly touch wouldn't hurt :-)

Another minor bug fix:

When you click on "Visit Headquarters" from the agency screen, it should take you directly into your HQ, not the map screen.

Also, we you make a change in furniture/decoration the HQ will reload rather than kicking you to the map. Unfortunately, you will end up back in the Meeting Room rather than in the room you were editing, but I can't fix that flow easily.

Also minor, and I have no idea if anyone else gets this as well, when I open a stored case file, I'll get the following message:

"You have lost your connection to the Sleuth chat server. Would you like to reload this page to reconnect"

When I click on "ok", I get the normal screen with the case I had opened.

As I said, not a big issue, just wondering....
