What does "Hearsay" means and ...

Hi All,

I've been noticing about the proofs I get for the killers and I was wondering if anyone here knows what does "Hearsay" means? This is how it appears in my case file tab:

Seen Leaving Scene (Hearsay) Testimony: Yvonne Leatherman

and a second question:

Does anyone else noticed why does the suspect's avatar changes before and after they died?

Lol, you shouldn't say that Mercey, now even more will hate me for it and probably continue sending warning smails to my agency members to warn them about joining my agency.

lol...I really don't understand, if my agency is not doing TH and I'm not really active in SD, then what's there for "them" to be afraid of me and couldn't come upfront and complain/criticize me to my face, rather than doing the coward move of going towards my agents??

End of story, don't want to complain no more, ruin my mood for the next 3 days already....

Joseph, I don't know what kind of person would do that. Yes it does sound cowardice. I have had some difference of opinions with you but I also have respect for the resolve and dedication you play the game.

If some have issues with your play or how you may do things it is out of fear or ignorance they act that way.

Did I miss 'the' clue (yeah probably (lol))?! Just wanted to give a bit of help, playing Florence Nightingale, hehe! Well, never mind, the next time I'll think twice before responding to you! Have a nice day and all... happy sleuthing!

Joseph this is the 4th day now and your mood should be better so get back to your kind of sleuthing, that's really hundred times better than just solving 4cases a day like most of us do here.... and one more thing I have noticed, hope you too might have noticed it that when you have more than 1 fake and more than 2 PEs and two suspects have 2star each say "X" gets his/her two star with just one PE(like footprints or threatening note) and the other suspect say "Y" gets his/her 2stars with 2 different PEs matched (like handprint, hair-sample etc.) in such a case you can safely accuse "Y" without even checking WEs for the 3rd star...

Sorry Really Red - but you can never 'safely accuse' on that kind of premise. You've just been lucky so far to accuse the correct suspect! Take care because one day you won't be so lucky .....

Ahhhh, so what do you do when you have RH case like I did today and only evidence was 1 foot and 1 Threatening Note. Hmmm, weapon was not it. What did I do?????

Ohh, at first I thought when at least 6 of the suspects leaning towards a single manipulation in a case, the killer will always have 3 stars worth of PE links to him/her, but no, it was proven wrong yesterday in one of my case, so there's really no pattern now. Just be careful and if I need to get the remaining stars by using charm or int rings, I'll buy them no matter what.

hmm...40 challenge points left, so soon enough, my agency will have to start doing Treasure Hunts again, so please be easy on us huh? We're just a newbie agency. ^_^

LOL Mercey, I like when others post there solving the case ideas, but fail to mention case levels. There is a big difference between an IH case and RH case. Even between an SH and AI. What you think may to be ok to "safely accuse" in some case levels, will not be the case in others. The only "safely accuse" method is to have at least 3 stars against a fake alibi. To post and say otherwise is a disservice to other players giving them a FALSE premise. That will lead to getting FAs.

Now Joseph, your agency maybe newly formed. You and couple others in it are seasoned players & treasure hunters. So you know how to properly conduct and defend a treasure hunt. :>)

Well first of all I have never been lucky, so I have always done what I am supposed to do(i.e to get 3stars).

Second point, I only said about the cases which are having more than 2-3 WEs(i.e a case matching the situation I mentioned and not the cases with just one PE).

Third point, LOL I forgot to mention that I have only played till SH level (i.e no IH or RH as yet), so really inexperienced when compared to most of you...

Fourth point, I don't consider my statement misleading to others(for increasing number of FAs)as I have never asked/suggested anybody to just go and accuse directly(if such a situation occurs), even I have never directly accused any suspect yet(in such a situation). As I said already I am just observing and noticing it. So any newbie or other sleuth who reads carefully and has proper grammatical knowledge will never get any FA because of my post.

Finally I would say to all(without naming anybody as no arguments are intended from my side) that as I said earlier it's just an OBSERVATION and not a VERDICT, it may be right - it may be wrong, but this is what I have noticed till now... so I think our honorable seniors(senior sleuths) should take this positively or cross-check it(FOR THAT WAS MY MAIN PURPOSE OF POSTING IT HERE) to confirm if it is correct or incorrect(as even I am not sure about it and mentioned it earlier), rather than just commenting or making fun off... Happy Sleuthing
