WARNING! Accuse with less than 3 stars of Evidence at your own Risk!

Sleuth Admin

Some corner cutters amongst you had discovered some safe ways to accuse suspects without first gathering 3 stars of evidence.

In sticking with the original intent of the game (not to mention our hitherto faultless game documentation), it is no longer safe to ever accuse with only 1 or 2 stars.

Good luck out there...

and Happy Sleuthing.

I wish I could look into your case for you, as I'm sure you played SoM long enough to know whether you've missed a suspect to reveal or another PE not found in CS. Either way, here's a number of choices you have:

If you can buy gloves/rings (preferably rings), you can always top up your skills starting from JOC, in order to get 2 questions right out from the first interview encounter to get alibi and leads. In case you've asked all suspects for leads and couldn't seem to unlock the last or 2 last suspects, then it must be in the yellow notes, missed either in CS or suspect's houses. Going for a 2nd round house checking, you probably need habits to plan on the visiting timing. After using all JOC, its time to switch to all charm or all intimidation based on the notes you've collected, as who you want to ask for proof against the fakes first. But in case you have a dead suspect, you might want to wear that necromancy ring first, as it would be your first priority to ask for proof with your basic skills.

Next, if you have more male than female gifts, you know you'll have to manipulate the females and use gifts on the males to save time.

Finally, since its a favor case, if you ran out of manipulations and gifts, you can always accuse the killer once you've rule out the other fakes. Like you have only enough manipulation to ask everyone else on proof of the first fake, assuming you have 2 fakes with matching PE and very sure you've unlock all suspects, then you already have the killer. This is called the power of elimination. Also be sure to re-check the CS again to see if you really didn't miss any PE.

@Dawn:
That's exactly what I'm asking for, at least 1 AI case that I can do but somehow, the case givers only giving all RH,SH,IH. Aren't IH belongs to the faction bosses, why top boss still offering IH?

@Mercey:
Hmm...I think I did said that previously, I wonder why I said that. Yeah, its a big difference if you don't have enough time to play this game. That's why its called an online game. I remembered one of the last onlin

(opps...)

I remembered one of the last online game I played, which I almost reach the top, but after 1 month leaving it and return, I dropped out of the top list. Well and its not why I like to maintain #1 till the day I die, its more to staying in the game until more new contents comes into play. I really couldn't see myself just quit knowing that they're bound to have more interesting to come.

@joseph thank you for the reply and you are right i do know how to break it down, but i am always scared of getting that dreadful FA which has happened with the process of elimination before. oh well guess i will have to do what you suggest and see if it helps. thank you for the help hugs cj

alright every time in RH level cases i can only get one star then i have the motive but absolutely no more proof this totally sucks as i am right when i quit, but do not want anymore FA"S as i am broke. good luck all

i finally solved a RH but it took me almost 40 minutes. ben could you at least give us more game time on the more difficult cases?

Wonderboy? Wow! Thanks, Droid, guess that was an irony since it is not the case.

I see what you mean about the number of seconds the scene needs to load... I suppose that is due to some connection issues, since there are such days when I could have a coffee break while a room is loaded, but those are the days I usually choose to experience other joys of life.
I'm rarely playing for several hours continuously (except when we do hunts)... usually working at my computer and doing a case or two once in a while to relax. Takes 10 minutes usually for an RH, but it can be more if I go the wrong way so let's make it 15. Adds up to what TJ said, but I very rarely come to do all my 3 favors. However, it doesn't seem to affect me in THs. Yes I do have days when I use all my 30 cases, but when I'm busy you won't find me doing any cases at all.

Whatever it is you guys invoke, lack of time or connection issues, besides all these you probably enjoy doing them beginner cases, since it would never cross my mind to do them, no matter how less time I have or how poor my connection is (rather don't play at all, because I don't enjoy them). And to say you sacrifice yourselves for the sake of hunting, again...

You're right, no one is here to judge others, only I was kinda expecting someone to say `What? Are you kidding me? What do you mean no easy levels available? But I love those! Make me feel safe (or whatever it is the satisfaction they offer, some has to be, most likely a better one but it was difficult enough for me to come up with this one)`.

Well Wonderboy you didn't get that response as we do do higher cases and they are not a problem.

Now on time issue, I think a bit of lightening up is in order as time limits were reduced ages ago as to make game harder. So now that other issues have been introduced, giving us a bit more time on the higher cases would be nice.

NO HATE BEGINNER CASES but theay are a means to an end so do them.

Whatever your feelings are about it are just that.

@cj:
Ohh, 40 mins is considered okay. I had to quit my AI favor for Receiving Nurse yesterday after spending 2 hours on it. ^_^ I have matched 2 of 5 PEs to 2 different fakes, narrowed the rest down except for 1 last one, out of the remaining 3 PEs, 2 of them could possibly match this last suspect, but I choose to quit it and found out that the killer is actually this last suspect. ^_^ So, don't worry, when you really face a tough case, you really have to quit it, even if its a favor.

The toughest case so far I have encountered:
1) All 8 suspects only will answer 2 questions with the same manipulations.
2) When there's 3 fakes with matching PE and 2 deads for me to ask proofs.
3) Both 1 and 2 scenario in the same case.

Note: Narrow them down if I could, but even if I couldn't, the Quit button is always there.

Hope that helps.
