No physical evidence?

If there is no physical evidence against a suspect, does this mean that he/she is definitely innocent?

you would then need witness evidence. ask the other suspects some questions. if you need further help, please smail me. happy sleuthing. oh also check for weapon evidence :)

and make sure they have a fake alibi

Each physical evidence will match 1 suspect. So, for every physical evidence that you've found in the crime scene, each of them belongs to somebody.

Getting Witness Evidence Only against a fake alibi suspect doesn't mean he/she is the killer, however getting Physical Evidence Only against a fake alibi suspect means he/she "maybe" is the killer. But of course, if you have 3 stars against a fake alibi suspect, he/she is definitely the killer.

Thank you.

But here's an example:

Say there is a suspect (I'll call her Gwen). Gwen has a fake alibi.

The only evidence found at the crime scene is a footprint.

After taking Gwen's shoes to the Shoemaker, the Shoemaker tells you her shoes do not match the footprint found at the crime scene.

After searching Gwen's house, you find no weapons.

So is Gwen definitely innocent? Or is it possible to get 3 Stars of Evidence from witness evidence alone?

Sure, I just solved a case with witness evidence only; 3 different witnesses giving a total of 5 stars of evidence... case closed!

hi Abby,

The footprint must belong to another suspect if it doesn't match Gwen.

and in this case, you've missed an important physical evidence in the crime scene.

btw, if you want to rely on witness evidence alone, only the killer will have a combine physical+witness evidence of 3 or more stars against him/her.

It is always possible that there is no physical evidence against the real killer. This is the case when the physical evidence belongs to somebody who is innocent (real alibi or dead).

But it is no problem to find the killer with witness evidence only.

A witness can give either one or two stars; and when you have several witness testimonies, you will get your 3 stars to accuse safely.

1 star witness evidence is "stolen gold watch" or "verbal threat" or "previous attempt to kill" or "seen leaving scene/hearsay"

2 star witness evidence is anything related to blood - "bloody shirt" or "bloody hands", and also "plot to kill".

Thank you, everyone.

no kivaas,

that's not possible, as there's always a physical evidence pointing to the killer.

if you can't find it, means you've missed it in the crime scene.

OK, good to know...
