Like is says: a Suggestion Box.

[be polite, I meant GAME suggestions!]

That's not to say we haven't got lots of ideas for things in the pipelines, but I'm sure there are lots of players out there who have lots of ideas about how to make the game a better / more interesting one, and we're always interested to hear what those ideas are.

Especially if they're explained clearly and constructively. :)

Who knows maybe you'll see an idea of yours up in lights :)

cj, i have been having fun reading all these cool suggestions.

i totally agree with everyone about the chat feature. i am glad they put it in for a while, though, because it worked and so technically, was a success. maybe they could use that new knowledge to institute some other feature more appropriate for this game or else use it on another application in some work elsewhere where it might really catch on.

how about this maybe administration could make a new item (hat preferably) that will allow you to go into the houses of the suspects without lockpicking!? but you can only get this "hat" by winning a showdown !:) and you can only use it a certain number of times, then it will expire :)

In that case, no players will invest skill points on lock-picking skills. Not only that, there won't be any point of spending time picking up keys and players won't buy keys from locksmith, no to mention that there's no longer any use for skeleton keys. ^_^

But if the "hat" adds on other type of skills as a boost, for example, with the "hat" on, instead of getting 1 question for using the wrong manipulation, the player gets 2 questions and for using the right manipulation, the player gets 3 questions, well... that would be fun. ^_^

okay jospeh you would still have the keys, as this would be strictly won in a showdown, and could only be used a certain number of times. would you honestly want to do a showdown all the time just for this type of hat? i know i sure wouldn't, but others may want to!

take two:

Just some general answers, without giving away all our secrets:

* We'll be introducing some new items to the game soon(ISH) which will probably mean there will be a range of skill bonuses to choose from.

* SO with that in mind I'm not sure about a lockpicking hat as outlined, but I see where everyone is coming from regarding the pro's and cons of such, and we'll take those comments into consideration.

* Belami: I like some of your thematic 'add flavour' to the game ideas.

* Archvillains would be awesome wouldn't they.
