@DA SMART are you sure you wrote #2 correctly? Because unless it's high nitrogen, 3:10 to Yuma, or some shorthand of latitude and longitude it makes no sense to me. Faizal got the rest right, I think.

I realise my answers are wrong mostly, but I have to argue the answer to number 1. Of course there are 8 letters in "alphabet" but the sentence was how many letters are there in "the alphabet". "the" comes after the in therefore it should be counted no?

1) It's 'The alphabet' actually it's 11 letters, but 8 letters are also correct in a way.

Who will try my 'Death row' quiz?

IMAGINE------You are on death row. The guy "sending you to your death" says u have 3 choices of death....
A.) You can go to a room filled with armed/'bad' people and get shot to death.
B.) You can go outside and get hung...
C.) You can go into a room filled with lions who haven't eaten in three years........and get eaten alive.
Which room do you choose? Why?

I would choose B, because I'm guessing it's a courtroom wherein you're facing the death sentence. When you get hung it generally means you have a hung jury, since most every state (but two) require a unanimous verdict to sentence someone to death. Hung jury means they can't decide, which means you dodge. It could also mean getting hung up over something which means to just get frustrated.

When referring to a hanging the sentence would better be phrased as "go outside and swing" or "You can go outside and hang/(be hanged.)" There's another phrase, I think, dealing with a noose, but I forgot it.

B. I think 'cause --get hung----does not mean by a noose but u can get hung in other ways...................

@Raina S.--Your answer is kind of correct, as I didn't mention about where you'll be hung.

The answer is C, because the lions would be dead if they didn't eat in 3 years!!!!!!!!!

Q7. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!
