Evidence (duplicate)

If you find 2 pieces of the same evidence (i.e. 2 handprints, 2 pieces of fabric, 2 clumps of hair) at the crime scene, are both pieces of evidence always from the same person?

I ask this because when one inspects evidence at the Flop House, it only inspects ONE of the pieces of evidence and then tells you the results of the inspection.

Is it ever possible that the 2 handprints (for example) are from 2 different people?

Sometimes it works that the evidence is all from the same person, BUT not all the time.

Just work off the piece of evidence you have analysed and match people to that.

if it worked like that there would be no use in multiple analysis skill

Level 1 Fabric analysis can allow you to analyze 1 Fabric PE, level 2 allow you to analyze 2 and level 3 allow you to analyze 3.

All true except for handprints, unless Sleuth Admin creates a Handprint Analysis Machine as in Crime Lab for agency headquarter. Set a limit that 1 player can only analyze 1 Handprint per case. That would help as a teamwork.
