Hidden Compartments

Sleuth Admin
Sleuth Admin

Just when life was starting to get easier for all you hard working Sleuths...

Suspects and Victims in harder mysteries have recently taken to keeping some of their more sensitive belongings in hidden compartments and secret rooms. A smart Sleuth would be well advised to spend a little extra time when investigating crime scenes and suspect homes .

Note: Hidden Compartments only exist in "Hard" Mysteries and up.

Note 2: This update has actually been in place for several days, and it appears that VERY few Sleuths had managed to spot the hidden compartments to date... So, if you are one of those who have, congratulations!

Happy Sleuthing, and keep your eyes peeled!

The note is only useful for a motive if you have research.

For example the note may say something about a suspect and the information can be found either at the Police station, Hospital or Newspaper.
You still have to use one research skill to find the motive, but it does narrow down where the motive can be found.

But what about the statue found in hidden compartment? When I click on "A statue" button, I don't get to the next dialogue box which has "examine" option. Is it some kind of flaw in the game?

Loose panels on the floor! Good job! I liked it, especially since I haven't played Shades for some time now. Keep up the good work!

Hi mr Montmorency, try using the tab key. You might find your yellow note then.
