Is there sense still playing? - detective vs bots ...

Hi,
Today I have first doubts - should I play or should I stop ... Why?

I have had a plenty of time today, so I was starting playing ...

About 4AM server time (high noon Central European Time) I checked AIU's standing - 126570 and KKK's standing - 73924). After solving 3RH cases I had extra 24 points - it took me about 45 minutes (quite fast, but of course it could be done a little faster). Next I checked KKK standing - 322 points more - it means 46 SH cases - average 1SH case per minute. After a few more minutes L.D Wallen solved next 23 cases. In sum L.D. Wallen solved in less than 2 hours 59 SH cases.

Any comments?

Are we human or robot?

Ben could You humanize our game? What is the sense playing, when I play half of a day and finish about 15 cases, so bots do 60 cases in 2 hours ....

Are we still feeling spirit of competition?

Azar

@Jonny: for me, Wikipedia is a more trustworthy source of informations than somebody, I don't know. It is common sense :)

And, please, tell IBM, that they are wrong too:

@Droid

You complain frequently about the server slowness (even before I created my bot). So if the server slows down, each time you log in, maybe *you* are the cause for its slowness.

To go beyond very simplistic analysis, impressions and (bad) feelings, I checked my bot's log: it ran until 14:20 (server time, I was behind schedule) and no sign of slowness. So either Ben's server is in love with my bot, or the problem is elsewhere.

I don't feel the need to discuss technical details with you. I already did on the forum and I even took the time to answer a question of yours by private mail, but you weren't polite enough to send a reply.

However I'm open to discuss technical details with Ben, if he feels, I may help.

@Jojo: Thanks. I knew you were the smart guy (no irony here). You got me right. All I need to keep me happy, is testing A.I. cases. My "I'm the best" bag, being already full, I don't need exp points nor fame points.

@Joseph: is this Pinyin? Do you know a good Pinyin-English (or French) on line translator? Or are you really talking about rabbits eating cows while surfing on Ben's site?

LOL, I thought that we didn't talk in code. Maybe he has had a little too much of .... sleuth? And the mystery in Sleuth continues.

@LD: Yes, this is cantonese Pinyin. Well, if any chinese could decode it, I wasn't referring it to anyone in particular but referring it to everyone. The contents of it, well, that's for me to know and for anyone to find out. ^_^

@Veronica: Yi guo lei oi chou, em koi lei mou hai dou chou. Lei kam chung yi chou, chow yung lei chi kei ger detective lei chou lar.

I bet you couldn't translate it. Again, its not foul words or anything, just find yourself a translator.

Hi All,

Sorry for putting this off. Defeating the scourge of the bots is a pretty time consuming operation. I'll begin in earnest this weekend.

Thanks Ben.

Many thanks Ben :)
It's sad that you have to use your weekend up for this particular task though.

@Ben: Thank you very much. Opps, I forgot that Ben once told a few of us during 1st Anniversary's Showdown, that his Mom is from Malaysia, maybe Ben understood what I was trying to say in my previous post. ^_^
