Hi All,

I would like to ask for opinions, would you vote yes or no if Sleuth Admin implement a Vacation Mode. What I meant by this Vacation Mode is that if we're busy in our real life, we can set our detective to Vacation Mode. Either we can choose Vacation Mode Type 1 or Type 2.

Type 1: During Vacation Mode, our subscription is disabled, and we can only do 4 cases a day (same as non-subscribe members).

Type 2: During Vacation Mode, our subscription is disabled, and we can only login for chatting, posting msg and so on, but can't do any cases.

thank you for the positive response ^_^ Yeah, if there's a possibilities for it, maybe Sleuth Admin could set a limit, let say players can only set ON VACATION MODE once every 1/2 year and the vacation will last for 3 months maximum or de-activated before the 3 months is up. ^_^

I actually think this is a great idea. It could halt our "Age" so that our time away would have no effect on our age or case history, and being limited to activity, as you suggested, would prevent individuals from abusing this policy.

That sounds like an awesome idea I know I would put same to use once I do sub if it were avaliable. I know my life a head is gonna be busy and traveling alot so being able to get on do cases and stuff might not work out so well all the time.

Give it time, if the idea gets enough steam then maybe Ben will implement it.

One problem would be that it would decrease the site income so Ben might have to put the subscription charge up.

I don't think it's a feasible idea. A good idea for the subscriber, yes, but not feasible.

You have to pay rent on your house/apartment whether you are there or not. You have to pay your monthly phone bill whether you use it or not.

Whether you log in or not, Ben's monthly expenses for running this site are the same. If Ben *does* implement such a feature, it would be an "above and beyond" gesture.

As I said, it's a good deal for the subscriber, but I wouldn't hold my breath over it being implemented.

I agree with Doodad to an extent, i think it is a good idea for the subscriber only, it could just be another benefit to being subscribed. But as Doodad said, i wouldnt hold my breath.
