After leaving school with the best possible marks in A-levels, I went to university but couldn't really make up my mind. I did like science, and I did also attend some psychology, medicine and a lot of other stuff. But I did not like the scheme - schedules, timetables, meetings, all a waste of time.
As my parents cut my financial support, I had to earn a living.
I tried a lot of jobs, but none really satisfied me. All were either boring or got me into contact with the wrong people. Not that I did tell them they were the wrong, though... you never know how useful such contacts might be later.
And then I found my occupation: a private investigator!
