Hey Guys I bet most of you clicked here , (because you're all good.)(maybe)(this is arwkward), Anyways I wanted to start of a mystery.

Ray Bailey sat at a small round table outside an ice cream parlor in the tony shopping district of St. Armand's Key, across the intracoastal waterway from Sarasota, Florida. He sipped a chocolate shake, hoping he appeared to be merely reading the newspaper and casually people-watching. He recognized a number of other reporters from various Sarasota publications hanging around, as well. All of them were attempting to look as though they were doing something besides watching the entrance to the beauty parlor across the street. Ray noted with interest that the throng included an FBI agent who seemed to be trying to look like a reporter.

Ray smiled behind his paper. The agent's act was probably fooling most people in the crowd, but Ray knew the guy. Ray was somehow aware that the agent had seen and recognized him as well. He didn't let his eyes linger or acknowledge the agent in any way but they definitely connected. He hated how sometimes cops could read peoples' minds from long distances and, somehow, let you know they were doing it. Ray was puzzled. He knew why he was there, and he suspected that the other reporters were there for more or less the same reason. He didn't understand why the feds were there. He thought they were finished with this case.

Before he could get too caught up in his speculations about that, the door of the salon opened, and a woman walked out, crossed the sidewalk and stepped into a waiting Mercedes. Ray's focus zeroed in on her for the 30 seconds or so he could see her. She was probably in her fifties, but she was very well preserved. She had dark blond hair that looked pretty good to Ray. He figured it ought to look damned fabulous, given the fact that she had just plunked down about $300 for a haircut. She was statuesque but not model-tall. She was in very good shape for her age, and the word on her was that she maintained her figure with a rigorous regime of exercise and diet. The socie

I glanced impatiently at my watch, before letting loose a sigh. Half-past nine. She should have been here by now. My eyes were fixed onto the door of the salon. I was watching. Waiting... Just like I had been for the past hour.

And then it happened.

The door was suddenly flung back. A tall, elegant lady with blonde hair stepped out into the sunshine. Without hesitation, she strode quickly up the sidewalk and clambered into a nearby Mercedes. She spoke to the driver briefly. And then they were off. I smiled. Feeling Ray Bailey's eyes drifting over to me impatiently, I immediately got into the nearest taxi. Time for action, I thought. The driver looked at me quizzically, but my answer seemed to resolve his confusion. "Follow that Mercedes." I commanded breathlessly...

The Mercedes cruised smoothly along the road, at approximately fifty kilometres per hour. Unbeknownst to the tall, blonde-haired lady and her driver, our taxi was in hot pursuit. To all outward appearances, it seemed as if everything was perfectly normal. We weren't speeding. Everything looked conventional, without the slighest trace of "Dehors-de-le-ordanairy." But appearances were deceiving. They WERE being followed.

Yet calmly the lady opened her window and smiled, showing pearly white teeth.

She Closed her window and continued.I was still following but the lady did not stop again. She led me in and out of various streets. Her car suddenly took a sharp turn turn and went into a deserted street.I told the driver to go there to but it was too late the mercedes was gone and so was the lady.I realised they might have come here so we coudnt follow them any more. I paid the driver and headed back to the ice cream parlor .

My eyes widened in shock as I gazed at the lady in the parlour. It was her! The tall, blonde-haired woman had come directly to this shop. A curious coincidence... But I couldn't afford to give myself away. Pulling my collar up in order to shield my face, I walked casually over the ice-cream counter and ordered a bowl of Double Choc Surprise. Then I sat down in a nearby seat next to the parlour window.

I was sitting directly opposite the woman.

She was too busy reading a cheap paperback novel to notice that I was right next to her. It wasn't until the waiter came over with our bowls of ice-cream that she looked up and saw me. Her eyes narrowed. All of a sudden, the atmosphere grew colder... I smiled to myself. Picking up my spoon, I muttered four words: "We need to talk..."

"We need to talk..." I muttered. Pointing my spoon at her, I continued: "You managed to evade me all the way to that salon. Well, not anymore..." She didn't say anything. The lady just kept eating her ice-cream. I sighed. This was going to be more difficult than I had thought....

For a brief moment, I hesitated. Could I really do it? I stared at the couple through the window. The lady was a tall 'un, with blondie hair. The guy-well, he was a sunglasses-wearing sort of chap, with dark hair. I smiled wickedly to myself. They had no idea what I had in store for them...
